What is the ASF Sensor Adapter for

In order for the printer to work the ASF sensor and the motor must be functioning normally, the ASF sensor is the unit that pushes the paper from the paper tray and loads into the printer, it has no use in a DTG but unfortunately it must be working in order to even get a successful printer start up on the begin, so people keep this sensor in the original location which is the huge paper tray or they build wooden adapter for it.

But why use the original paper tray if you can use an adapter and save space ? It’s small and very convenient!
